When can I buy ARKbot?

ARKbot is coming to the Mac App Store. Email [email protected] with the subject “Tell me when ARKbot launches” and we will write to you once — on launch day — and never again.

Getting started

1. Connect an AI provider

Open Settings → AI accounts, pick your provider and paste an API key. You create a key on the provider’s own website (look for “API keys” in your account there). Press Test connection to confirm it works. You can connect several providers and set their order under Provider order.

2. Create your first Bot

Click New Bot, give it a name and one clear job — “Sales coordinator”, “Purchasing”, “Support”. A short description of how you want it to work makes a big difference.

3. Give it tools

In the Bot’s settings, connect a mailbox, Slack or another channel, and any files or business system it needs. A Bot only ever sees what you connect to it.

4. Ask, then let it run

Talk to it like a colleague. When something should happen regularly, say so — “check the enquiry inbox every half hour” — and it becomes a routine you can see, pause or edit.

Common questions

My Bot says the AI account has no usage left

Your provider has run out of credit or hit a spending limit. Top up or raise the limit on the provider’s website. If you connected a second provider, your Bots have already moved to it and will switch back on their own.

A Bot is not answering in Slack or Teams

Check that the Bot is signed in under its Connected apps tab, that ARKbot is running on the Mac, and that the message mentions the Bot or is a direct message to it.

How do I stop a Bot doing something?

Say “stop” in its chat. It stops at once and sends nothing further. You can pause or delete any routine from the Routines panel.

How do I move ARKbot to another Mac?

Use Settings → Devices & remote → Move to another Mac. It creates a passphrase-protected file with your Bots, chats and sign-ins that you open on the new Mac.

How do I delete my data?

Deleting a Bot removes everything it stored. To remove everything, delete ARKbot and its data folder. We hold no copy — see the privacy policy.

Refunds

Purchases are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something is not working, please write to us first — we would like the chance to fix it.
